Incineration method refers to the high temperature condition of 800-1000℃, high salt wastewater combustible components (mainly organic matter) and oxygen in the air for intense chemical reaction, release energy and converted into high temperature combustion gas and a small amount of stable properties of solid residue, so as to reduce the volume of high salt wastewater, to achieve the purpose of harmless.

The incineration of high-salinity wastewater usually has a secondary combustion chamber (the temperature is controlled above 1100℃), which can ensure the complete decomposition of organic matter in the wastewater. Under ideal circumstances, the solid salt produced at the bottom of the furnace can be reused at industrial level, and the energy generated from the wastewater can be heated by dry raw materials and by-produced steam.

Common incineration treatment is subject to incineration cost, concentration and type of salt and other factors, not all high salinity organic wastewater is suitable for incineration, in addition, the process is easy to produce nitrogen oxides, dioxins and other toxic substances, the salt in the wastewater will also produce a certain degree of corrosion to the device and equipment.
