JIEMA HEAT EXCHANGER DEOXYGENATION TOWER

On June 23, 2023, the PL11 project for a large pulp and paper company undertaken by Guangzhou Nansha production base of Jiema Co., Ltd. was successfully completed and shipped.

Main material of the equipment is S31603, while it is constructed with a diameter of 3.5m, a total length of 39.26m, and a total weight of 60 tons.

This equipment is by far the heaviest and longest Pressure Vessel manufactured by Jiema Guangzhou Nansha production base.

The deal was signed in March 2023. Aftewards, the equipment drawings were designed by our technical department. Several on-site inspections, multiple rounds of communication with customer engineers, and the constant revision of drawing are conducted, before the actual confirmation in mid-April.

The size of the equipment is super. Considering the transportation and on-site installation, Wang Youhua, the general manager of the Nansha production base of Jiema Co., Ltd., visited the customer's site many times to gain an in-depth understanding of how to install the equipment smoothly after its arrival at the construction site. Thorough communication with production director Chen Weihong on the requirements of product manufacturing accuracy, nozzle orientation, appearance, and transportation issues was made. As a result of the investigation, the tower was divided into three sections for production, and the components were assembled after they arrived at the construction site. At the same time, Jiema Heat Exchanger also follows strict supervision for the whole process of equipment raw materials sourcing, riveting welding, head forming, machining, non-destructive testing among many other processes, under the guidance of ISO 9001:2015, GB/T24001-2016/SO14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018.

The quality assurance team and relevant personnel, during the time, was carrying out work in strict accordance with the formulated process plan.

In the case of tight construction schedules, all procedures from material procurement, cylinder rounding, butt welding, inspection, etc. were operated and inspected in accordance with corresponding standards, and all welding seams were qualified at one time. It ensures both the quality and appearance of the product.

When the tower departs from the factory, custom-made transportation tooling is also made to ensure the stability of tower transportation, and we have immediately organized equipment installation team to proceed with onsite assembly and installation.
