What is spiral heat exchanger?
Spiral plate heat exchanger is made of two plates, forming two uniform spiral channels, two heat transfer medium can carry out full countercurrent flow, greatly enhancing the heat exchange effect.
The nozzle (flang) on the shell adopts tangential structure, and the local resistance is small. Because the curvature of the spiral channel is uniform, the liquid flows in the equipment without large steering, and the total resistance is small, so the design flow rate can be improved to make it have a higher heat transfer capacity.
Plate fabrication: The spiral plates are fabricated from the selected materials using specialized machinery. The plates are cut to the required size and shape and then formed into the spiral shape.
Welding: The spiral plates are welded together to form the heat exchanger. This is done using specialized welding techniques to ensure a strong and leak-free joint.
Assembly: Once the spiral plates are welded together, the heat exchanger is assembled. This involves attaching the inlet and outlet connections, as well as any other components such as insulation or support structures.
Testing: Before the heat exchanger is shipped to the customer, it undergoes rigorous testing to ensure that it can withstand the operating conditions it will be exposed to. This may include pressure testing, leak testing, and performance testing.
Shipping and installation: Once the heat exchanger has passed all the necessary tests, it is shipped to the customer and installed in the appropriate location. This may involve connecting it to other equipment or piping systems, and ensuring that it is properly secured and supported.
